Caelan Thomas

038
I made this card for Roisin and Chris to celebrate the birth of their gorgeous new son Caelan Thomas. I used the Baby Tees wheel for the border at the bottom of the card and then cut out a couple of bits to add dimension.
Roisin loved the card especially as he has such an unusual name.
Don’t forget that Sale a bration is on – any order over £45.00 will get you a free item from the flyer - theres a link on the left hand side of my page!

Paisley Petals

I made this card for a dear friend who is in hospital to let her know that I'm thinking of her. I love the set Paisley Petals, it's really versatile .

I used the in colours Calypso Coral and Lucy Limeade together with the gorgeous ruffled ribbon and the greeitng is from the swirls and curls hostess set in the lovely spring mini catalogue.
I hope you like the card.

You Are Loved

I have created this card for my daughters wonderful Irish Dancing teacher Roisin!  She is very pregnant and due any day so I figured what with the baby and everything, finding a card for the lovely Chris was not going to be easy.

I created an envelope for her with a blank oval punched name plate on it.

The card using the stamp set You Are Loved in the gorgeous spring mini catalogue which is available until 30th April 2012.

I stamped the Happy Valentines Day image onto vanilla cardstock and then centred the Love image over it so it looks like it has a swirly background.
I then used Cherry Cobbler ribbon to add a little extra to the bottom along with 2 mini hearts together with a bit of bling.

I put a greeting inside so all Roisin has to do is add her own bit of love and then remember where she's put it!
If you would like to order this gorgeous stamp set then drop me an e-mail to ruthwareing@aol.com or send me a text to 07590568117 and I will get one into the post to you asap.

Have a great day

Just Believe

This stamp set is one that I love and one that seemed appropriate to start my blogging days with again.  Even when I couldn't hold anything in my right hand I believed that it would get better and 5 months later here I am!

I used the Marina Mist cardstock as it nice a bright and teamed it with crumb cake. I used a favourite wheel of mine which is now discontinued to form a border down the right hand side.

For this card I used the Parlor Prints background stamp and then used the top note die to cut out the very vanilla cardstock.  I used the Beautiful Wings embosslits die to cut out the butterflies.  My stamping is improving and just a tad wonky ;)

For this card I used the vintage wallpaper embossing folder to create the background and the top note die again.

I would love to hear your comments - good or bad.

Lost Time

Hello again!

I feel once more, that I should apologise again for my extended leave of absence.  I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but I have MS and have been having a relapse for a while now.  I've been taking steroids and having physiotherapy but it affected my right hand side in particular my right hand which has been disastrous for my crafting as I couldn't hold a stamp or a pair of scissors!

I am starting to get some use back now though and have been working on some new ideas which I hope to post when I have one that is actually straight :)

I appreciate you all sticking with me and hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.  As you can see, there is a new mini catalogue out and it has the most beautiful things in it, in particular the new range of charms and chains.

I hope I shall be a but more active over the coming days and weeks whilst being terrorised by my physio, she's finally come round to my way of thinking - that crafting actually is good physiotherapy!

See you soon
