My nieces Christening

I wanted to create something 3 dimensional for Evas Christening card so I took Rose Red cardstock and created a box

I cut out some windows and put some acetate behind them.  I then cut out some patterned paper and created a wallpaper to cover the inside of the box.

I made a cot using whisper white cardstock and a little bedside table and toy chest.  I used the new twine from the summer mini catalogue to create a mobile above the cot.  I then used some gold cardstock and ran it through the big shot to create a patterned background and then used a Rose Red marker to put the details of her christening on it.

I hope she likes the card.

Happy Anniversary

To me!

Yep, my wonderful husband and I share our 14th wedding anniversary tomorrow so I wanted to create a card that wasn't too mushy and as he rides bikes (not like this one I hasten to add) I liked this idea.

I added a bit of glitter to the hearts to make them pop on the card.

If you hold a party for Stampin UP! and gain sales of over £150.00 you could have this stamp set for FREE.

Christening Day!

Today is the day the gorgeous Caelan and his handsome cousin Etienne are christened.

I wanted to make a personal card for each of them.  I used Marina Mist as my base colour as it's so subtle and perfect for a christening.

I used the lovely new Simply Scored board from the new Summer Mini Catalogue to make the lines on the inside of the card.  It looks very professional if I do say so myself ;)

I hope the sun stays out so we can get some lovely pictures of the boys.

Have a great day

Summer Mini Catalogue

Yay!  The Summer Mini catalogue is here and I have to say, I think it's my absolute favourite of all the minis Stampin Up! Have bought out.  It's full of the most gorgeous Stampin UP! goodies you could imagine.

One of my favourite items is the score board.  It has so much more detail than any other score board with score lines at every 1/8".

To make it even better you can add the Diagonal plate which will make making boxes and envelopes easy peasy!

If you would like to order from the new Summer mini catalogue please press the link on the side of my blog or e-mail me a ruthwareing@aol.com

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
