Mothers Day

 I am lucky enough to have 2 mother in laws.  My mother unfortunately passed away when I was 11 so having 2 mother in laws is great.

I created this card for the one who loves flowers.  I used the Simply Soft stamp set which is so lovely to use and I added a touch of glitter to make the flowers sparkle.

 This one is slightly more traditional  using the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set which I still love.

I used the 2 square punches to make it uniformed and the gorgeous eyelet border punch to add a bit of something extra down the side of the card.

I hope that they like their cards.

New cards

It was one of my oldest friends birthdays and she's a very traditional lady so I went with traditional colours.  I got the idea for both of these cards from Pinterest which I am now addicted to! I used Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Pear Pizazz together with the gorgeous Rose Red Sean Binding Ribbon.  The stamp set is an old favourite Pocket Silhouettes.

For this card I used another In Colour Calypso Coral together with the Ruffled Ribbon.  I created the background using the very versatile Elegant Bouquet Embossing folder and the butterfly using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die.

I am now off back down to my craft room in the garden - I may be some time ;)
