Thank You

My daughters are teenagers and although extremely grateful for all the gifts they have received over the holidays they are not so keen to spend a whole lot of time writing thank you letters!

This year we decided to make thank you cards and sned them together with a picture of them with their gifts.  This seemed a much better idea to the girls as they get to "play" in my craft room and they say thanks in their own unique styles. The above card was created by my youngest daughter.  She basically put most of the Thank You stamps from the Another Thank You set onto a stamping block and then stamped it onto cardstock, she then cut out a shiny red heart.

My eldest daughter believes in the "less is more" approach and created 3 cards using as little product as possible.

She did manage to add a crystal to each card to "bling it up a bit"

She thinks they're a perfect way to say thank you.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, there is still time to check out the end of year sale in my shop now link below.

I will be back soon to show you some of the gorgeous new products soon to be available in the Spring/Summer catalogue and those gorgeous FREE products from the Sale-a-Bration catalogue.

Snow Scenes

Following on my my last lot of glitter I wanted to show you this card I designed.  It uses the gorgeous Happy Seasons Stamp set together with the Hearth and Home Thinlets.  I used the dazzling diamonnds again to add the festive glitter to the scene through the window.

I also used an embossing folder to create the "wallpaper" on the front of the card.  This card again is very quick and easy to create and I have made lots to send to friends and family back in the UK.

Why not have a go, I have listed the items I used below.  Click on any of them to order from my online shop.

Noel

I wanted to show you a few more quick and easy cards to create.  I am having a stall this year at a couple of craft fairs and wanted to create lots of cards very quickly.

Each card just uses a different colour mirror card but you can cut out the wreaths quickly using the Big Shot.

Running the embossing folder through to create the background takes seconds

And adding a few dimensionals and some Tombow glue onto the words and voila!  Quick and easy cards.

Be sure to come back over the next few days when I will be creating more quick and easy card for Christmas, until then

Christmas Glitter and Snow

Good morning from Beijing.  This was my view when i got up this morning, it's -7 degrees outside but very pretty!  I thought today would be a good day to make some glittery Christmas Cards.

This card uses one of the timeless  Lovely as Tree stamps and I added the snow embossing folder to the card to give more snow.

I covered the whole of the tree mat with Dazzling Diamonds glitter to give it that extra sparkle.  It really shines on the shelf.

With this card I used the Dazzling Diamonds glitter again but on the whole of the card mat.  It such an effective way of adding sparkle to your card without the mess of normal glitter falling off everywhere.

Can't beat a bit of bling!

This final card uses a long thin card blank and I stamped one of the new Embellished Ornaments onto white cardstock and cut it out using the framelets.

I then covered the cutout bauble with the heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds again.
Honestly my whole craft room is sparkling right now!

These card are all very quick to make and very simple.  Why not have a go yourself?  You can order all the products I have used by clicking on my shop now link and have them delivered straight to your door, What could be better on a cold winters day?
