Medallion Stamp
Hello, sorry I haven't been on for a while, I had a bit of a flare up with my MS and my hands would not obey me! Bad Hands! All better now though, I'm not sure gluing 700 swarovski crystals on my daughters new Irish dancing dress helped!
I watched a video on You Tube and saw a fantastic lady create 2 tone stamping using the medallion stamp and a sponge dauber. I used inks from the Bold Brights set and inked this card using pixie pink and the daubed pink passion around the edges and in the middle.
With this card I inked the stamp using orchid opulence and then daubed lovely lilac around the edges and middle
Finally I used tempting turquoise and the daubed brilliant blue around the edges and middle.
I used the Tiny Tags set and Tiny Tags punch from the mini catalogue to create the tags on the ribbons and then stamped the medallion onto the envelope tops.
I hope you like them.
Right, I'm off to catch up on some cleaning, have a great day!

Spring Card
Good morning everyone. I have been playing with the new Sweet Pea range in the mini catalogue. The papers are amazing value at just £19.50 for 48 double sided sheets! The felt flowers set is only £6.50 for over 50 pieces! They all coordinate with some of my favourite colours including the delicious chocolate chip!
This is how the card looks from the side. It sits beautifully and is really different!
The stamp set is My Sweet Pea and the branch is from the gorgeous bird punch. The felt flower is from the Stitched felt set.
The cute little tags are from the Tiny Tags set and were punched using the Tiny Tags punch. This is such a versatile set and has been selling really well!
I hope you like the card. I'm really supposed to be painting the downstairs loo but crafting is much more fun - just don't tell my husband ;)

Bird on a Wire
Yesterday we went to Alton Towers with my friend and her 3 daughters. I took my eldest daughter and 2 of my friends daughters to Nemesis where we got stuck 80ft up in the air for 40 minutes during a power cut! We had to be rescued by the park employees and escorted down flights of steps. I have to say the the staff there were fantastic, everything was done quickly and calmly and nobody screamed or panicked, in fact for most of the time I was playing eye-spy with the girls to try and keep their mind off things!!
Anyway, I just thought I would show you this little card I did manage to make with my poorly finger. It's using the Bird on a Branch stamp set from the mini catalogue. I call it a swing card but I'm sure that's not it's proper name. It folds flat like this:
and then stands like this:
The image of the bird on the branch has been put on both sides of the card so that it look the same from either side. They are very quick and easy cards to make but very effective.
I hope you have all had a lovely Easter

Another Challenge
I was a bit late yesterday with my posting so I missed the Sweet Stampin Challenge deadline but never mind, I liked the new one even better!
I'm always rubbish at making cards for men - for some strange reason they don't appreciate all the flowers and hearts etc. I got this FAB stamp set called All In The Family. You can create just about anyone with the combination of stamps and it's SO much fun.
I used the stamps to create "Dad" for the outside and then more stamps to create us as a family inside.
It was great fun to make and perfect for a Fathers Day card.
I am NOT enjoying all this rain. All my chickens seem to be constantly hiding underneath the trampoline, the dog keeps leaving muddy footprints all over my nice wood floors and the back garden resembles marsh land! I am hoping that it stays nice tomorrow for the Easter Egg hunt so fingers crossed.

Sweet Stampin Challenge
Been feeling a bit tired lately so thought I would go and see what the lovely ladies at Sweet Stampin were up to. I liked the sketch so I gave it a go.
I used the new bird punch from the mini catalogue which I love so much and the friend background stamp.
The arty farty angle that Julies loves. I used So Saffron, Brocade Blue and Night of Navy.
I'm now off to take Summer to see her "boyfriend" so they can swap Easter Eggs - how romantic!
Have a great Saturday

The Gorgeous Mini Catalogue is Here!!
I have been SO excited about the launch of this mini catalogue! It's filled with such gorgeous goodies! There's something for everyone in there from stitched felt to satin ribbon! There's a really fun stamp set on page 11 for creating cards for kids and the vintage vogue stamp set that I keep raving on about can be found on page 8.
The designer paper series are just stunning and on page 13 you can get yourself an amazing 48 double sided 12x12 sheets for only £19.50!!! This coordinates beautifully with the My Sweet Pea stamp set on page 12.
What's more is - if you order a total of more than £40.00 from the mini catalogue in April I will give you free P&P!
I will be placing an order later on today so have a look through and see what takes your fancy and drop me a line at Ruthwareing@aol.com or call me on 07590568117. I look forward to hearing from you x
