Bird on a Wire

Apologies for not posting for a while. It's been really busy with the girls off school. On Sunday I managed to rip the nail off the little finger on my right hand so it is now all bandaged up and is really, really sore so I've not been able to do much.

Yesterday we went to Alton Towers with my friend and her 3 daughters. I took my eldest daughter and 2 of my friends daughters to Nemesis where we got stuck 80ft up in the air for 40 minutes during a power cut! We had to be rescued by the park employees and escorted down flights of steps. I have to say the the staff there were fantastic, everything was done quickly and calmly and nobody screamed or panicked, in fact for most of the time I was playing eye-spy with the girls to try and keep their mind off things!!

Anyway, I just thought I would show you this little card I did manage to make with my poorly finger. It's using the Bird on a Branch stamp set from the mini catalogue. I call it a swing card but I'm sure that's not it's proper name. It folds flat like this:

and then stands like this:

The image of the bird on the branch has been put on both sides of the card so that it look the same from either side. They are very quick and easy cards to make but very effective.

I hope you have all had a lovely Easter
Ruth
