Another 18th

My gorgeous God daughter Holly turned 18 this week so I had to make her an extra special birthday card.  I wanted it to be bright and beautiful just like she is!

I had great fun adding all the extra detail like the diamontes and buttons.

She loves butterflies so I couldn't resist putting a few of those on too

This is very different from the cards I usually make but such fun to make.  I just hope she liked it as much as I did!

gifts and bags

I love giving little gifts to neighbours and teachers at Christmas and you can rarely go wrong with chocolate!

I found the instructions to the gorgeous Kissmas tree (Hershey Kisses) here
and knew I had to make one or two, I ended up making lots as they are quick and easy to make and if I kept the spare kisses on my desk I would have eaten them :)

I then made this gorgeous little bag and popped 4 nuggets inside it

This bag is for the ambassadors wife, it has ferrero rocher in it as she has a great sense of humour.
Why not have a go and send me a picture?

12 days of Christmas

As we are now living in Beijing for 3 years Christmas will be a bit different for us this year.  We are flying back to the UK before Christmas week so I wanted to make our girls something alternative to an advent calendar as well.

In the Autumn-Winter catalogue there is a gorgeous set of stamps just made for this called 12 Days of Christmas!

I created these gorgeous little bags using the Stampin UP! Fry die, they are quick and easy to make and just big enough to put something special in them!

I used the gorgeous papers from the Christmas catalogue and now both girls have their very own 12 Days of Christmas to look forward to.
